How much impact did this coverage have on the country's relationship with the European union and, perhaps more importantly, the surprise Brexit vote in June 2016? Did often relentlessly negative reporting influence the result or simply report on the truth? If not, what does the coverage mean for the debate over "fake news" as well as the future of journalism.
