The emergence of new technologies within the reach of all and of a wider and more accessible Internet have facilitated the creation and the sharing of non-professional news&opinion and accelerated the democratization of content that now competes with classic journalistic output. The possibility for millions of people to produce and publish independently is having a major impact on journalism in particular and society in general. The challenge is to be able to understand it, live with it and make the most of it.
