New journalistic ventures such as HomicideWatch, PolitiFact, and the ConnectedChina project by Reuters have moved beyond the traditional inverted pyramid news story and have started new journalistic forms. By using “structured journalism,” they allow readers to browse and explore news content in ways that weren’t possible before the digital age. This panel will explore the promise of structured journalism and how it can be adopted by news organizations around the world.
